National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week was celebrated April 19 through 25, 2009 to honor over 60 million volunteers across the United States. Our own Volunteers in Policing help us on a daily basis, giving of their service and time. They currently work in all of our units, staff the two resource centers and 44 of them are out there helping in patrol. In 2008, our 82 VIP members contributed 34,881 hours of service!
